Welcome to Iris and Star - home of beautiful handmade beaded jewellery. I mainly specialise in bracelets however I can also do necklaces, anklets and beaded rings. I use semi precious beads and source vintage stones to create unique designs to treasure always!
Iris and Star was born in April 2020 when the World was going through a global pandemic… I was furloughed from the job and like everyone else I was doing a lot of online shopping at home to pass the time! I kept seeing brightly coloured bracelets and jewellery I loved however the prices were way out of my price range. One day I thought “I’m going to make some bracelets for myself” and having always been crafty and creative I gave it a go! I already had a huge box of beads I’d been collecting for years - for no apparent reason - and I had some elastic so I made myself a few bracelets. Later that day my Husband and I went on a lockdown walk (remember those?!) and I took a picture of the bracelets on my wrist and put it on my instagram saying “look what I’ve made” I then got around 10 messages off friends and family asking if I’d be making any to sell…
